Free trip to Paris? Yes please.

One of my favorite bloggers, Oh Happy Day, is doing the best giveaway ever... a trip for two to Paris! I entered immediately. I've never been and it would be a dream vacation for the hubs and I.

Obsession: lilacs

Sadly, we are nearing the end of Lilac season. I grew up on the East Coast and it's one thing I miss living in California. On the East Coast it's not hard to find a lilac bush, the fragrant smell will lead you right to it! I even went to college in upstate New York, home of the Lilac festival. Each year my mom and I would buy a different color bush to plant, and she still has them in her yard, well, at least two of them are still going strong. What's your favorite flower or season? Since I don't really get to experience lilac season anymore, I would have to go with the Tulip. But wait, I'm forgetting about Peonies and Ranunculus. It's a tough call, right?

I'm a little shy to share this, because it's my first solo video creation, but you're all really nice and supportive and if you can't share on your blog then where else can you? For my birthday this year my husband and I went on a trip to Vancouver. Along wth exploring the city (more about that later) we also did some glamping on the sunshine coast. We stayed in the most amazing tented cabin on the water. It was such a special place, I didn't want to forget it, so I made this video of the walk we took every day to and from our little oasis. Hope you like it.
